((Yeah.... I'm dork. I'm aware of the fact.))
Edward couldn't help but smile as he kissed Chaosti again. He knew it was wrong to break up the relationship he had with Autumn, but this felt right.
"Yes," Jasper said. "To all three questions." He smiled and brushed his lips against the side of her head. "Awww," Autumn said, slightly sarcastically. Logan glared at her. "What? Someone had to do it.."

"Is it working?" Chaosti murmured into the kiss, unable to hold back a smile.
Elena smiled and said, looking down at her stomach, "Well, we'll see how this kid goes, I guess. But I'm definitely not planning on any more until I am out of school."
[God my posts have been really sucky, especially my Chaosti ones. I keep feeling like banging my head on the keyboard because of him. Should we have Elena tell him she's pregnant, so he can stop being so wooden and flat already?]

((Yeah, we probably should get that over with....))
"Hmm, I don't know," Edward said against Chaosti's lips. "A little more and I might figure it out."
Jasper laughed. "I can definitely live with that," he said. "One kid will be enough with schoolwork to do alongside of it..." "Still think you need to tell him though," Autumn said, knowing they could tell who she was talking about. "He needs to know and... well, you've got something to shove into his face to keep him from getting too mad." She shrugged. "There are worse times than this."

[Yeah]
Chaosti laughed slightly and backed Edward up against a bookshelf as he increased the intensity of the kiss.
Elena sighed, took Jasper's hand in hers, and said, "Unfortunately, she's right. I also have a thing or two to say to him about keeping something like that from me." "I highly doubt he even knew himself before all this," Layali pointed out. "And you've been keeping something from him, too. So I wouldn't use that as your opening argument."

Edward's hand laced into Chaosti's hair, pulling him closer and deepening the kiss.
Jasper smiled reassuringly. "Come on. It can't be that bad. He hasn't killed me yet," he said, attempting humor. One favor, Autumn thought to Jasper, if he asks about me, tell him the truth. Lying about it now would probably make it worse. Jasper nodded slightly. I would have told him the truth anyway, he informed her.

A groan of ecstasy and desire escaped Chaosti, along with a shiver. This was hardly the time or place to be getting excited, but he couldn't help it - touching Edward, kissing him, was intoxicating. He couldn't get enough, couldn't get close enough.
Elena laughed a little nervously at that, then asked Autumn, "Where did you see him last?" She didn't want to say 'Where is he'. She wouldn't ask Autumn to reach out and touch his mind so soon after being hurt. Elena could be pretty dense, but she knew heartbreak.

Edward pulled back from the kiss and leaned his forehead against Chaosti's, trying to catch his breath. He kept his eyes closed, not wanting the moment to end. "You know, as much as I would love to continue this, we probably should stop."
Autumn gave Elena a small smile, having caught her thought. "Library," she said quietly. Jasper pulled Elena up and started to head to the door. "Come on, I know where he is, and he's in a surprisingly good mood," he said to Elena. "We'll see you guys later," he added to the other three.

Chaosti nodded, speechless, and closed his eyes to picture un-exciting things. Experimentally, he tried picturing breasts. Not very helpful, but not as definitely not helpful as picturing the man in his arms naked. Shit, toenails with fungus, toenails with fungus. Well, he supposed that made him bisexual, though he didn't particularly care about labeling it. It was just an odd fact he noticed in passing.
Elena smiled at Autumn and said, "Thanks - I think." She kept one hand firmly holding onto Jasper's and waved goodbye with the other as she walked out of the Common Room with him, toward the library. "Good luck," Layali called after her.

Edward opened his eyes and moved his hand from the back of Chaosti's head to his cheek, trying to look him in the eyes. "Don't try so hard. That only makes it worse."
Autumn watched Elena and Jasper leave before burying her face in her hands again. "God, I'm such a horrible person," she said. Logan sighed and sat in the seat Elena had been in and put his arm around Autumn. "No, you're not," he said. "Yes, I am! Don't you get it? I willingly allowed my friend to go add more pain to his life when I already know he's beating himself up over the break-up!" she said, tears once again falling onto her cheeks. "I'm ruining his life..."

Chaosti laughed a little shakily, moving his body back from Edward's a bit, and said, "I noticed. I wish I had the power to summon ice water - though that would be a little difficult to explain to the librarian, if she ever checked back here and found the books soaked."
Layali patted Autumn's arm and said, "It's not your fault. She needs to tell him anyway. There's no avoiding it. Chaosti can be oblivious sometimes, but I think he'd notice when she starts to seriously show."
Elena swallowed nervously as they walked toward the library. "How do we do this? How does one start this kind of conversation?"

Edward chuckled, but it sounded just as shaky as Chaosti's. "They'd dry eventually. Besides, no one comes back here, you said."
Autumn sighed. "I guess you're right, but I still can't help but feel like I'm responsible for single-handedly ruining his life."
"I imagine it's one of those 'So, I have something to tell you, but you might want to sit down and not kill my boyfriend' type intros," Jasper said. "Don't worry. We'll be fine. And I won't leave you."

"Generally not, but they might be so inclined if there was a sudden great splash of water," Chaosti said with a wry smile.
Layali shook her head and said, "The only life anyone can ruin is their own. Which you will do, if you continue to blame yourself for this. None of it is your fault."
Elena watches her feet as she walks, thinking vaguely to herself that she better relish it, because in a few months she might not be able to see her feet at all. She sighs and says, "I know. I just... I just hope he doesn't think less of me for this."

"That is very true," Edward said, trying not to laugh. "But we still need to be careful. Either one of us could burn down this entire section if we're not careful."
Autumn nodded. "I'll try, but I still have a feeling that my turtle shell will call me back." "And we won't let you go back to it," Logan told her.
"If he does, he's an idiot," Jaspesr said. "No one should think less of you for getting pregnant. Besides, it might be more my fault than yours. But I don't think less of you and I won't let you think less of yourself."

Chaosti laughed and said, "Of course, I'd have to shift fully first - which in and of itself may break a couple bookshelves."
"You just have to get your mind off of all this, think about something else," Layali suggested.
Elena smiled up at Jasper, squeezing his hand, and said, "Thank you." They had reached the library by then because starcrossed can't think of anything else and Elena looked around, then asked Jasper, "Where is he?"

"Well, let's not get into technicalities," Edward said.
"Like what? Every stray though somehow relates back to him and sets me back in the recovery," Autumn said. "God, how can people deal with this calmly?"
Jasper sighed. "In the back by the boring politics books," he said. "With Edward... so I think we should probably wait for them out here." ((Just have them hear them talking or something, I guess.....))

Chaosti grinned, then stopped suddenly to listen. "I think I heard Elena," he said. "She would never be in a library of her own volition. Come on," he headed out of the little nook, motioning for Edward to follow him toward where he'd heard Elena's voice. Elena spotted Chaosti first and took a deep breath before going up to him, keeping a grip on Jasper's hand. "Chaosti," she started, then trailed off. Chaosti examined her expression then asked, "You've seen Autumn, haven't you?" Elena nodded and said, "Yes, but.. That's not what this is about. Not entirely." Chaosti looked confused, but had enough presence of mind to make introductions. "Edward, this is Elena. Elena.. Edward."

Jasper stayed with Elena. Edward stayed with Chaosti, but made a point not to be too close. "Nice to meet you, Elena," he said. "I've heard a lot of good things about you. Hey Jaspser." "Edward," Jasper said with a nod. He looked at Elena and gave her hand a reassuring squeeze. "Come on," he said, "it's not going to get any easier if you wait."

Elena studied Edward critically for a long moment, then smiled and said, "Welcome to our group of misfits, Edward." She gave him a one-armed hug, keeping her other hand in Jasper's, and when her lips were near his ear she said in a flat, entirely serious voice, "If you hurt him, I'll kill you." She stepped back with a pleasant smile, which faded a little when she remembered what she was here to do. "Right, erm.. How about we all sit down? Sitting down would be good." She led them all to an area of the library that was sparse of people who could eavesdrop and that had a few comfortable chairs arranged facing one another. Elena sat down on one love-seat, and Chaosti on the one across from her. "How is Autumn?" he asked anxiously. Elena hesitated, unsure how much she should tell him.

Edward couldn't think of anything to say in response to Elena's threat. He knew it was a typical thing for a friend to say, but hearing it from her was a lot more intimidating. He sat next to Chaosti on the loveseat, but still didn't say anything. Jasper sat next to Elena, his hand still holding hers, but he made sure that his leg touched hers as well, hopefully making it easier if he needed to calm her down. When Chaosti asked about Autumn, Jasper visibly grimaced. "She's currently having a breakdown," he said. "I know that sounds harsh, but she asked me to tell you the truth if you asked. If anyone so much as thinks your name, she will start crying again. She went on this huge rant about how she was going to go join a nunnery... but I don't really want to relive that conversation. But she doesn't blame you at all. Either one of you. She's only blaming herself, and that's why it's going to be hard to pull her out of this." He sighed. "But that really isn't what we came here to talk about..."

Chaosti looked pained to hear all of this, his face crumpling a little bit. "Is there anything I can do?" he asked plaintively. Elena shook her head and said, "I think what you're doing right now is best - giving her some space. I was going to take her drinking, but apparently that isn't an option any more." This last she said bitterly, with a tinge of despair. She didn't know how she was going to survive several more months of this. Her knee jumping repeatedly as an outlet for her nerves, Elena took a deep breath and said, "But I- we came here to tell you something else, not about Autumn. And, ah.. You do realize we're in a library, yes? And you know you can't yell in a library, right?" Chaosti began to look a little bit alarmed, hearing his own words from earlier echoed back to him. "What is it? What's going on?" he asked worriedly.
