Recreation Room The Rec Room is open to all houses, all the time. A popular hangout, many students spend their free time here. There's pool tables, a dart board, a small TV, and many large, comfortable chairs. There's a cabinet to one side of the room that stores tons of board games, both muggle and magical ones. There's also a mini fridge with some non-alcoholic drinks and a few snacks constantly stocked in it. A microwave rests atop the mini-fridge. Moderator: starcrossed |

Library One of the rennovated rooms, the library does have computers (granted, not very modern ones, but computers nontheless) - that is, if you have the muggle knowledge to use one. The library itself has a domed ceiling and is two floors, the second of which is reached by spiral staircases. Many comfortable armchairs are scattered throughout, along with tables if you wish to get some work done here. At the door you can borrow from the librarian a pair of earmuffs spelled to keep any noise from reaching your ears, even the sound of your own heartbeat, for those who are distracted easily. Dining Hall Here meals can always be found, freshly made. There are designated tables for students from each house, but the only time people pay any real heed to that is for formal affairs. Moderator: starcrossed |

Gardens The school proudly boasts huge, magnificent gardens, among the best in all European wizarding schools. Flowerbeds, sweet-scented herbs, ponds, statues, fountains, stone benches, cobblestones.. It's a truely beautiful, relaxing place to be. Moderator: starcrossed |

Amiraen Forest A huge forest right by the school that stretches for miles upon miles. The first mile or so in is fairly safe.. But beyond that, when the foliage thickens, the paths and sunlight vanish, and strange wails are heard echoing in the darkness.. Students are forbidden to venture into this part of the forest without a desginated guide with the proper training to protect them. Within the dark side of the woods, there are one or two landmarks among the confusing twists of bramble. There's a huge, black, bottomless lake at one point, with mysterious creatures of both good and bane lurking within. At another location, an old, somewhat small-looking cemetary rests. The headstones are centuries old and crumbling, enscriptions barely legible. Yet now and then a new grave will be added, though nobody knows why or by who. Moderator: starcrossed |

Owlery While some witches and wizards nowadays choose to use other modes of communication, owls are still popular mail carriers and pets. Their lodgings are in a tall, old-fashioned tower with wide windows, easy to fly in and out of. Watch where you sit, though. Birds do live here. And birds will do what birds do. Golden Sands Beach The school is right on the ocean, so after class many students make the fifteen minute trek down to the beach for a dip. Be wary, though - it may be beautiful with its golden sands and crystal clear waters, but sharks, jellyfish, and rip tides are still a danger to the unwary. Moderator: starcrossed |

Classrooms Obviously, this is where all the young mages attend classes. The classrooms vary greatly, with an amazing array of magical paraphinalia and setting - tower rooms, dungeons, outside, rooms inside that somehow end up outside.. And of course, there's specialty rooms where mages are trained in their individual abilities.. Steel reinforced rooms, an area on the roof of the castle with a lightning rod, a room with moving targets.. Everything one could imagine. And those who teach the students are just as varied and unique.. Moderator: starcrossed |

Pool Open to students from 3pm-6pm on school days, but from 7am-7pm on weekends and holidays. During the winter, it's a great substitute for the cold beach since it's indoors and heated during the cool seasons. A lifeguard is always on duty during open hours. The pool itself is huge, Olympic sized, in fact. To one side of the pool there's also a couple of large hot tubs to relax in. Moderator: starcrossed |

Quidditch Pitch What wizarding school would be complete without a quidditch pitch? The sport is ever popular, and each house of ADSGMP has a team. Huge, towering spectators' stands surround the pitch, each with specific house colors painted on them to indicate appropriate seating. Moderator: starcrossed |

House Towers There are four towers, one for each house. Within each tower lies three major areas: the Common Room, the Girls' Dormitories, and the Boys' Dormitories. Traditionally only mages that belong to a specific house may enter its Tower.. But some students have been known to discover the password through the portrait hole and disregard this rule.. The Air Tower is decorated in light tones of yellow and gray, the Water Tower in shades of blue and white, the Earth Tower in earthy tones of brown and green, and the Fire Tower in vibrant shades of red and orange. Headmistress's Office What have you done now? Troublesome students often get sent to the Headmistress's Office, where they recieve fair but firm punishment. Or perhaps you're here to consult the Head about your scedule, or the possibility of taking on more classes? Whatever your reasoning for coming, the Head can usually be found here - and always in the company of at least one cat. Hope you're not allergic. Moderator: starcrossed |
